cement01Central Asian Cement is the leading supplier of cement in Ulaanbaatar, capital city of Mongolia. With an ongoing boom in construction projects Central Asian Cement has seen unprecedented demand for its product. Be it bulk or bagged, Central Asian Cement's plant can meet demand for high-quality Portland cement for use in all types of applications.
Central Asian Cement operates a cement crushing factory in Ulaanbaatar which has been operational since April 2004. The Factory now has an operational capacity of 80,000 tons of cement per year.  A renovation and addition for the current cement crushing facility is currently being planned which will be installed and operational before May of 2009.  This should increase the production capacity to 200,000 tons per year.
We produce two grades of the type of cement known as Ordinary Portland Cement, mark 425 and mark 325. Portland cement is created using a mixture of clinker, mineral admixtures, and gypsum, and it is widely used in industrial and civil construction projects.  Clinker, the principal ingredient of which is limestone, is the base material used in cement production. We plan to produce our own clinker for internal consumption.
We plan to trade cement both within Mongolia and over the border with Russia. Our cement products are primarily sold within the city of Ulaanbaatar, but a small percentage is sold to rural regions in Mongolia and Siberia.
